To all of my friends I'm afraid I'll no longer be able to talk to you. Octavius has over run me and my troops here at Philippi. I and a few others have escaped to a cave, here is where my life will end. In an attempt to save Rome's Republic I will commit suicide on its behalf. Goodbye my friends. Long live Rome.

Now with Caesar dead and Marcus Antonius attacking me and my fellow senators I and several others are escaping to Greece. I appologize to those I offended, Marcus Antonius, but long live Rome!

Today is the 15th of March 44 B.C.E. and the Senate will be meating at Pompey's theater due to remodeling at the Senate House. Thank you Decius Brutus for persuading Caesar to join us at this fine meeting. I wish all of Rome a long and prosperous future.

Caesar returned today from his triumph over Pompey's sons. My heart goes out to Pompey, a great Roman. Though he has done things to me I will never forgive he was my captain, my leader, and friend. To all of you Romans who hipocriticaly welcome Caesar, after you mourned for Pompey, I frown upon you. Caesar as a close friend I welcome you and thank you for pardoning me, but you must understand my sorrow.

I'm so excited! I just became the chief judge of Rome. Hopefully next year I'll become a Consul! I can only pray to the gods for that grace. Thank you people of Rome as well!
